Introducing More Being, Please
A few things are changing around here...
Hi friends,
If you’re been subscribing to this newsletter for a little while, you’ll know I’ve changed its name a few times — and here is another one… (stick with me, please!)
For the past decade, I’ve longed to create a space for reflection. Oftentimes, I haven’t known what such a space would look like or I lacked the words to describe what exactly I wanted to create, but, my belief has always remained consistent: there is great value in slowing down and approaching the questions that govern our personal and collective lives. Only by getting quiet do we hear that insistent voice beckoning us to awaken and become active collaborators with life, to realise the power we have to transform ourselves and the world for the better.
There have been many starts and stops to seeing through this vision. Building and creating is far from a linear process (a difficult lesson for my Type A/Virgo/perfectionist self to learn!). Anxiety and doubt have often stifled my attempts, and I’ve ended up running out of steam before I’ve really begun.
And still, and still, this idea has stayed steadfast with me. After all these years, I can only take this as the serious call that it is for me to tend it into being. Whatever comes from it, the idea deserves this much. I feel a rootedness and clarity of intention that has come with age, building self-trust and, as a loved one has often said, at some point, you have to get tired of your own BS!
You can look forward to receiving:
Fortnightly Sunday Letters featuring personal reflections and prompts to inspire you to live more deeply and expansively.
A soon-to-launch podcast exploring ideas from literature, the arts, and philosophy
& workshops to bring the exploration of these ideas live and in community.
It feels brave to say and commit to this out loud, and really, much is staying the same — but I’m bringing a new energy which feels different and exciting!
I hope you join me on this journey - the first Sunday Letter will be out sooner than you think!
P.S for anyone struggling with bringing your ideas to life, I *highly* recommend Ayandastood’s pocast, Soul Salon. Be prepared to take notes and listen on repeat!
